Mark Raventós

Vice President of Corporate Development

Mark Raventós is a global renewable energy business leader, with extensive experience leading the development, engineering, M&A, and execution of renewable energy projects across the globe since 1997. As Redeux’s Vice President of Corporate Development in Denver, Mark leads M&A strategy and execution. He is responsible for cultivating relationships with early-stage developers and project owners that include IPPs, utilities, and infrastructure funds. Mark’s solid track record includes over 17 years of experience at Acciona Energy – a global renewable energy leader – where he was part of its international leadership team. During his time between Madrid, Bangalore, Mexico and Chicago, he successfully developed or acquired over 3GW of wind and solar projects in the Americas, India, and EMEA. Over 1GW are now operational world wide, with nearly 800MW under construction in the US. Prior to Acciona, Mark worked in CESA, an IPP wind platform backed by venture capital to grow its international business. The company was acquired by Acciona in 2006 for $1.5 billion. Additionally, Mark started his career as an industrial engineer on wind projects at the US wind developer Seawest. Mark holds a MS in Industrial Engineering from the UPC – Barcelona Tech University, an Executive MBA from EOI Madrid, and has completed the CMI program at the Booth School of Business of the University of Chicago.
