VP – Technical Services
Richard Beauchamp is an engineering professional with over two decades of experience in the mining industry, across multiple commodities, focused on operational efficiency, quality and productivity. For Redeux Energy, Dick provides and manages technical services and feasibility evaluations critical for the company’s brownfield pipeline projects including due diligence, permitting, post mine land use, and geotechnical engineering. He also serves as VP of Technical Services for Thoroughbred Holdings where he is responsible for engineering due diligence, operations development and readiness across a wide range of projects. Over his career, Dick has held positions ranging from Mine Foreman to Chief Mine Engineer for Patriot Coal, Arch Coal and Intercontinental Potash. His list of projects includes the installation of Patriot Coal’s Blue Creek Complex and separate Washington Mine, valued collectively at over $275 million, as well as the +$100 million NI 43-101-compliant Feasibility Study for Intercontinental Potash’s Ochoa Project. Dick holds a mining engineering degree from Virginia Tech and is a Registered Professional Engineer in multiple jurisdictions.
