W. Aaron Bowlds
W. Aaron Bowlds co-founded Thoroughbred Holdings, a holding company backed by Yorktown Energy Partners to own, operate and invest in energy, energy infrastructure and natural resources assets. He has served as a board member since 2015 and as managing director since 2016. He served as executive vice president of Terminal Holdings LLC from 2016 through its successful exit in 2018 to a consortium led by Tallgrass Energy. He is also founder and managing director of Zydeco Holdings, - which is redeveloping the site of the Willow Glen Terminal, a 2.2 million barrel multi-modal liquids terminal, on the Mississippi River. In 2020, he founded Redeux Energy. Mr. Bowlds previously served as head of corporate development and general counsel for a global technology company backed by Blackstone, senior counsel at Level 3 Communications and held numerous executive and director roles in multiple industries, with deep experience in operations, M&A, public and private financing transactions and distressed investing. He began his career at the law firm K&L Gates focused on M&A and financing transactions and holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Kentucky College of Law.
