Management

Rob Masinter
Chief Operating Officer
Rob Masinter is a renewable energy veteran with extensive experience in development, finance, construction, operations, and product management in the energy and technology industries.
As co-founder and chief operating officer (COO), he is responsible for Redeux Energy’s day-to-day operations, including development, origination, technology, project finance and staffing. Prior to Redeux, Rob was COO of AES Distributed Energy, where he scaled engineering, procurement, construction and asset management teams and processes to increase annual deployment capacity by a factor of 10. Rob also served as the general manager for AES’ US battery energy storage fleet and as a member of AES’ corporate deal team for renewable acquisitions including sPower. Prior to AES, he led product management and field applications engineering for Advanced Energy’s solar inverter business. Prior to Advanced Energy, Rob co-founded OpTerra Energy Services, an ESCO roll-up backed by Oaktree Capital and eventually sold to ENGIE in 2016. He holds an MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College, an MS in Earth Science from Stanford University and a BA in Geology from Middlebury College.

Christina Derlath
Director, Finance
Christina Derlath is a business executive with extensive experience in project finance and tax in the renewable energy industry. Christina is responsible for Redeux Energy’s project finance, tax structuring and business projections. Prior to joining Redeux, she worked in Mergers and Acquisitions at KPMG, leading advisory work for large renewable energy sponsors and developers and providing them with a full suite of M&A services, including acquisition structuring, modeling, due diligence, operational advice and disposition planning. Christina has a strong understanding of the financial and tax technical issues that commonly arise with partnership flip structures. She is a CPA and holds a MAC and BSBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Steve Drew
Vice President, Market Strategy
Steve Drew, Vice President of Market Strategy, is responsible for fundamental energy market research and cultivating relationships with Regional Transmission Operators (RTOs), utilities, and corporate counterparties that manage and purchase power. Steve has over 20 years of leadership experience in the regulated energy space, competitive transmission, biofuels, and renewables. During his career with Borrego, NextEra, and OG&E, Steve has bridged FERC, RTO, and State policy to successfully deploy strategies that include over $1.4 billion in regulated transmission investment and more than 1 GW in solar and energy storage. He holds an MBA from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business.

Garrett Gill
Vice President, Land
Garrett Gill is a renewable energy and utility professional with over 23 years of nationwide experience in the land-related aspects of utility-scale solar, wind, high voltage overhead/underground electric transmission and distribution project development. He brings a depth of experience in right of way land acquisition, GIS mapping, title research, permitting, public outreach, database development, and project controls for regulated and non-regulated electric utilities as well as independent power producers.
As Redeux’s Vice President of Land, Garrett oversees land acquisition for utility-scale solar and storage project development, along with related GIS, title and curative, and program administration. Before joining Redeux, Garrett served as Executive Vice President of the Power Group at Contract Land Staff (CLS), working on a range of projects, from 300GW of early to mid-stage solar and wind development projects to over 6,000 miles of right of way for electric transmission and distribution development. Additionally, Garrett held senior positions with Coates Field Service and TRC.
Prior to pursuing his energy career, Garrett proudly served our country in the U.S. Army for 11 years, with one of his most prestigious assignments being an official escort to the President of the United States in the 3rd U.S. Infantry Presidential Honor Guard.

Mark Raventós
Vice President, Corporate Development
Mark Raventós is a global renewable energy business leader, with extensive experience leading the development, engineering, M&A, and execution of renewable energy projects across the globe since 1997.
As Redeux’s Vice President of Corporate Development in Denver, Mark leads M&A strategy and execution. He is responsible for cultivating relationships with early-stage developers and project owners that include IPPs, utilities, and infrastructure funds.
Mark’s solid track record includes over 17 years of experience at Acciona Energy – a global renewable energy leader – where he was part of its international leadership team. During his time between Madrid, Bangalore, Mexico and Chicago, he successfully developed or acquired over 3GW of wind and solar projects in the Americas, India, and EMEA. Over 1GW are now operational world wide, with nearly 800MW under construction in the US.
Prior to Acciona, Mark worked in CESA, an IPP wind platform backed by venture capital to grow its international business. The company was acquired by Acciona in 2006 for $1.5 billion. Additionally, Mark started his career as an industrial engineer on wind projects at the US wind developer Seawest.
Mark holds a MS in Industrial Engineering from the UPC – Barcelona Tech University, an Executive MBA from EOI Madrid, and has completed the CMI program at the Booth School of Business of the University of Chicago.

Shannon Ross
Director, Human Resources
Shannon Ross is Human Resources executive with more than 20 years of experience in the energy industry within the public, private and government sectors. She brings a wealth of experience in people leadership and organizational development along with a focus on growing people and the business. As a member of Redeux’s leadership team, Shannon is responsible for the development and execution of people strategies, the overall HR function, and process implementation in alignment with a rapid growth trajectory.
Prior to joining Redeux Energy Shannon served as a People, Experience and Technology senior leader with Amazon; Director of HR, North America with Strad Energy and has held several senior HR positions with Utility and EPC business on the regulated and non-regulated sides of energy. She holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Management, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration both from the University of Phoenix.
Development

Shawn Blazer
Manager, Development
Shawn Blazer has worked in renewable energy project development for more than five years, overseeing dozens of assets in various stages of development. As a Manager of Development at Redeux, Shawn is responsible for driving value-adding development activities for the company’s multi-GW utility-scale solar, and battery storage project pipeline, including interconnection studies, permitting, and tax abatement. He is also involved with greenfield prospecting to select target points of interconnection and related land acquisition.
Prior to joining Redeux, Shawn was a project developer at Strata Clean Energy, where he was responsible for a portfolio of early- to late-stage assets in the Southeast, representing over 600MW. Shawn also has extensive experience with project transactions, having played an instrumental role in multiple project sales and financings. Shawn graduated from North Carolina State University with a BS in Environmental Science.

Andy Hixson
Director, Development
Andy Hixson is a chemical engineer with nearly 20 years of experience in project finance and development activities in the renewable energy industry, including project acquisitions, contract negotiations, permit applications, engineering due diligence, and pro forma development.
At Redeux, Andy is responsible for utility-scale project development and is an architect of the company’s proprietary development process. Prior to joining Redeux, he served as E3 Consulting’s practice lead for solar and energy storage projects. Andy’s solar PV experience includes the review of more than 9 GW of projects at nearly 500 sites in North America. He has also managed due diligence services for more than 500 MW of standalone battery storage projects and approximately 1 GW of solar + storage projects. Andy has a M.S. in Global Energy Management from the University of Colorado at Denver School of Business and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Jared Ivie
Senior Manager, Program Management
Jared Ivie is an experienced program management professional with over a decade of experience in various energy industries, including renewables and oil & gas. As the Senior Manager of Program Management, he is responsible for continuous improvement of Redeux’s stage-gate development process, including tracking the status and risks of the Company’s regional prospecting and project pipeline.
Before joining Redeux, Jared led a team at Xcel Energy to support the development of a 4 GW portfolio of utility scale solar, battery, and wind projects. During his decade with Xcel, he was responsible for continuous improvement initiatives related to project and portfolio management of large capital programs. He has a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and Project Management Professional (PMP).

Andrew Makee
Director, Development
Andrew Makee is a renewable energy development professional with more than 13 years of experience guiding utility-scale wind and solar projects through late-stage development across several U.S. markets — developing over 600MW of currently operating assets. Andrew draws from his deep experience managing internal teams and consultants in greenfield site acquisition; transmission studies; electrical interconnection; and environmental, local, state, and federal permitting.
As Director of Development at Redeux, Andrew is responsible for utility-scale solar and storage projects from origination through early- and mid-stage development across several regions of the US. Before joining Redeux, Andrew led Avangrid Renewable’s solar portfolio expansion into the Southeast, building a 2GW+ portfolio of mid-to-late-stage development assets. Andrew also worked with Orion Renewables on utility-scale wind and solar projects across SPP, ERCOT, MISO, and SERC. Andrew holds an MBA from Western Carolina University and BS from Miami University in Ohio.

Mike Toomey
Director, Storage Development
Mike Toomey has more than 14 years of experience in the renewable energy industry in development, strategy, origination and negotiations, policy, operations, and construction. He has worked directly on the development of over three GW of projects, ranging from solar thermal, wind, solar PV, solar PV + storage, thermal storage, and battery energy storage systems. As Director of Storage Development at Redeux, Mike is responsible for the go-to-market strategy for storage applications and development of standalone storage projects in target markets. Working with Redeux’s development team, he guides the storage elements of solar PV + storage projects throughout the US.
Prior to Redeux, Mike worked in development and origination roles at Tesla, Recurrent Energy, and NextEra Energy Resources, as well as held a board seat at the California Energy Storage Alliance and Interwest Energy Alliance. He continues to serve as a mentor for the MIT Clean Energy Prize. Mike holds an MBA from University of California, Berkeley Haas and a dual degree in Mechanical Engineering and Spanish from the University of Notre Dame.

Dan White
Director, Development
Dan White started his career as an environmental consultant and has spent the last 12 years developing utility-scale solar, wind, and storage projects across several RTOs in the United States. Dan is Director of Development at Redeux and focuses on utility-scale solar and storage project development, including greenfield site identification and control, permitting, interconnection, and securing tax incentives.
Prior to joining Redeux, Dan directed solar and storage greenfield development and project acquisition in National Grid Renewables’ Southeast Region. He also worked at Southern Power Company, a subsidiary of Southern Company, where he developed wind, solar, storage, and natural gas-fired power plants. Dan also has extensive experience conducting due diligence on energy development projects and operating plants for potential acquisition and divestiture. Dan holds a BS in Geology and an MS in Environmental Engineering, both from the University of Alabama.
Land

Joe Martin
Manager, Land Acquisition
Joe Martin is a land professional with comprehensive knowledge of surface and sub-surface land issues relevant to energy project development and operations. With over 15 years in the energy sector, Joe has deep experience with nearly all facets of surface land and mineral negotiations, mineral title, prospecting, and due diligence. As Manager of Land Acquisition at Redeux, Joe is responsible for landowner relationships and leasing as well as regional prospecting to identify site control opportunities and trends for solar and storage project development.
Before joining Redeux, Joe spent 10 years as the President and Owner of High West Resources, Ltd., a land brokerage company servicing large and small clients throughout the Rockies — most recently focused on solar development. Prior to starting High West Resources, Joe worked as a Surface Land Negotiator at Noble Energy, Inc. He is a graduate of Xavier University with a joint degree in Business Administration and Entrepreneurial Studies.

Erin Minogue
Manager, Land Acquisition
Erin Minogue is a land professional with over 10 years of experience in the energy industry. Having successfully closed thousands of acres across dozens of states, she has a comprehensive understanding of the acquisition and leasing of land as well as easements for the development of wind, solar, transmission lines, and battery assets. As a Redeux Land Manager, Erin is responsible for landowner relationships and leasing, as well as regional prospecting to identify site control opportunities and trends for solar and storage project development.
Before joining Redeux Erin worked as an independent consultant for organizations such as Anadarko Petroleum, Kinder Morgan, Energy Transfer, Tenaska, Innergex, AES, Orstead Development, DESRI & Orion Renewables performing duties that included ROW acquisitions, due diligence, site acquisition, and project management. Erin holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina.

Matt Trice
Manager, Land Acquisition
Matt Trice is a land professional with over 10 years of experience in the energy industry. Matt has a comprehensive understanding of the acquisition and leasing of land as well as easements for the development of wind, solar, transmission lines, and battery assets. He has also earned the prestigious rank of Senior Right-of-Way Agent from the International Right-of-Way Association. As Manager of Land Acquisition at Redeux, Matt is responsible for optimizing and executing the company’s regional land acquisition strategy and process in MISO and Southeast markets.
Prior to joining Redeux, Matt worked for some of the energy industry’s largest and most innovative companies, including Nextera Energy, sPower, and AES, where he led a team involved in leasing and acquisition endeavors that extended throughout the entire East Coast and into the Midwest. Earlier in his career, Matt worked as an independent consultant for organizations such as Chesapeake Energy and Energy Transfer, performing duties that included mineral leasing/title, surface leasing/title, due diligence, title curative, site acquisition, and project management in oil and gas. Matt holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Hawai’i.
Planning and Analysis

Holly Ausseil
Analyst, Land Acquisition
Holly Ausseil is a land professional with an extensive background in public and private land departments, specializing in GIS. As a Land Analyst, she supports the land leasing and site acquisition for utility scale solar and battery storage through the analysis of land viability, market valuations, and GIS application development and deployment throughout Redeux Energy’s development portfolio.
Prior to Reduex, Holly worked in land departments for various energy companies and the federal government and has also worked as a flight attendant. She holds a graduate certificate in GIS from the University of Denver, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Geography with a minor in Geospatial Science from Sam Houston State University.

Henry Ferrill
Land Analyst
Henry Ferrill supports site acquisition and local affairs for Redeux. He provides analytical support for market valuation, portfolio management and local regulations while evaluating and advancing purchase or leasing opportunities. Prior to Redeux, Henry worked at Cadence Capital Partners, where he assisted in capital allocation for a wide variety of commercial real estate development projects across the United States. Henry attended the University of Denver, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Real Estate and Construction Management, with a concentration on Real Estate Finance.

Patrycja Leszczuk
Analyst, Land Acquisition
As a Land Analyst, Patrycja supports market selection and prospecting land leading to site selection for the leasing and development of utility scale solar and storage throughout Redeux Energy’s development portfolio. Her responsibilities include GIS land analysis, data organization and structuring support, portfolio management, and evaluating and advancing purchase or leasing opportunities.
Prior to Redeux, Patrycja worked for Sonder Energy, where she assisted by searching for prospective land and analyzing certain criteria for utility scale solar projects across the Mid to Eastern United States. Patrycja graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she earned a degree in Environmental Studies with a minor in Geographic Information Systems.

Jack Thompson
Senior Financial Analyst
Jack Thompson is a Senior Analyst in Finance with a background in both corporate and project finance. As a key member of the finance team, he is responsible for developing financial models and analysis for a variety of Redeux’s renewable energy projects and plays a key role in maintaining Redeux’s corporate financial projections.
Before Redeux, Jack worked in Project Finance at Catalyze, mainly focused on M&A transactions in the renewable energy industry. Jack gained experience in tax equity and debt structures through commercial and industrial project level financing. Jack holds an MBA with a specialization in Corporate Sustainability through Colorado State University, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Michigan.

Board Member
W. Aaron Bowlds co-founded Thoroughbred Holdings, a holding company backed by Yorktown Energy Partners to own, operate and invest in energy, energy infrastructure and natural resources assets. He has served as a board member since 2015 and as managing director since 2016. He served as executive vice president of Terminal Holdings LLC from 2016 through its successful exit in 2018 to a consortium led by Tallgrass Energy. He is also founder and managing director of Zydeco Holdings, – which is redeveloping the site of the Willow Glen Terminal, a 2.2 million barrel multi-modal liquids terminal, on the Mississippi River. In 2020, he founded Redeux Energy.
Mr. Bowlds previously served as head of corporate development and general counsel for a global technology company backed by Blackstone, senior counsel at Level 3 Communications and held numerous executive and director roles in multiple industries, with deep experience in operations, M&A, public and private financing transactions and distressed investing. He began his career at the law firm K&L Gates focused on M&A and financing transactions and holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Kentucky College of Law.

Charles R. Wesley, IV co-founded Thoroughbred Holdings, a holding company backed by Yorktown Energy Partners to own, operate and invest in energy, energy infrastructure and natural resources asset. He has served as a board member there since 2015. He also served as president since 2014, and CEO since 2016. Additionally, Mr. Wesley serves as founder and managing director of Zydeco Holdings which is redeveloping the site of Willow Glen Terminal, a 2.2 million barrel multi-modal liquids terminal, on the Mississippi River. He is a Director of Redeux Energy.
Mr. Wesley previously developed the RAM Terminal site in Louisiana and served on its board until its successful exit to a consortium led by Tallgrass Energy. He is an independent director on the Board of Hallador Energy. Prior roles include serving as chief planning and commercial officer of Ramaco Resources, and senior counsel at Level 3 Communications, where he was responsible for the operation and ultimate disposition of the company’s coal mining operations. He began his level career at the law firms of Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld and Strasburger & Price, focusing on international energy transactions. He also worked as a mine engineer with a coal company. He is an active private investor in natural resources, financial technology and craft brewing and is a board member across multiple industries and philanthropic organizations. Mr. Wesley holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Kentucky College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute.
